Owners Phil and Ian have experience from working at The NZ National Film Unit, Television New Zealand, independent companies Gibson Group Ltd and Cloud Nine Screen Entertainment in New Zealand, and Videosonics and Gemini Audio in the United Kingdom.

Jason Canovas, nominated for an academy award for Best Achievement in Sound Editing for his work on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Screen Composers Guild of New Zealand
The Guild aims to be a forum for composers to connect, share ideas and knowledge. As well as, promote and grow the art of screen composing in New Zealand to build sustainable careers for established and upcoming musicians.
Members of the Guild are listed on the member's directory, can participate in forum discussions and attend workshops or seminars held in Auckland and Wellington. There is also a large and growing list of industry discounts and perks found in the membership section - including the Standard Screen Composers Agreement.
